FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK…

“Education gives wings and roots.”

The necessity to inculcate values of peace and harmony in our students is more relevant today than ever before. While educating our children, we must not forget to educate their hearts.

The traditional methods of teaching and learning have undergone radical changes with advances in technology. This has led to an increasing access to information. Meeting challenges in educating children in an era of technological explosion is an enormous task. Our greatest obligation to our children is to prepare them to understand and deal effectively with the world in which they live and not with the world we have known, or the world we would prefer to have. “There are two lasting bequests we can give our children. One of these is roots, the other, wings.” (Hodding Carter) Wings to show what can be achieved and roots to remind our children where they are from.
